SUBMISSION FORM & GUIDELINES FOR COMMUNITY EVENT & PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
CBS Radio Houston does broadcast public service announcements and posts listings of community events on its station websites free of charge.
CBS Radio Houston owns and operates a powerful cluster of six great radio stations- 100.3 KILT-FM (country); Hot 95-7 KKHH-FM (Top 40); Mix 96-5 KHMX-FM (Hot Adult Contemporary); Mega 101 KLOL-FM (Spanish); SportsRadio 610 KILT-AM (Sports Talk); and CNN 650 KIKK-AM (News). All submitted community events and public service announcements will be considered for airing and / or posting on all six of our stations. By submitting below, all information will go to all six of our radio stations. Please do not submit to each station individually. There is no guarantee that submitted material will air and / or post on our stations and their websites.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Announcement of non-profit community events
*Announcements of non-profit community events are usually only posted on the station websites.
*Material must be submitted via the form below. This is the only way it will be considered for posting. Please do not email, fax or mail your community event listing.
*Community event listings cannot promote regularly recurring meetings, religious services or personal appeals for funds.
*All community event listings must be received at least two weeks prior to the event date.
*Please note that if you do list a contact person’s email address and / or phone number it will be posted online with your community event listing and possibly read live on air.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
A public service announcement (PSA) or community service announcement (CSA) is a non-commercial advertisement broadcast for the public interest. PSAs are intended to raise awareness about specific issues. Usually, they focus on issues and / or causes like education, health, safety, environment, etc.
*PSAs must be submitted via the form below.
*If you do submit audio, which can be uploaded to the below form, it needs to be either 30 or 60 seconds long. If you do not have a recorded spot, we can produce it for you, depending on production workloads.
*There is no guarantee that your submitted PSA will air on the stations.
