Family Service Center of Galveston County, in partnership with Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc., announced the launch of Crisis Hotline of Galveston at 409-741-TALK (8255). This new 24-hour telephone service provides crisis counseling and referrals to community resources for callers from the Galveston community who are still recovering from the devastating effects of the hurricane and other personal issues. Crisis Hotline of Galveston is free, bilingual, completely confidential, and operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
